Who We Are

SuppAlarm is a supplement reminder app for iOS, built by a solo indie developer. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and what choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at hello@suppalarm.app.

What We Collect

SuppAlarm is designed to keep as much as possible on your own device. Specifically:

• Supplement schedules and reminder data (names, times, cycling patterns, restock counts you enter) are stored locally on your device.
• Stack photos you take within the app are stored locally on your device only. As of this version, photos are never uploaded to any server we operate.
• Subscription and purchase datais handled by Apple (via StoreKit) and by Superwall, our paywall and subscription infrastructure provider — see "Third-Party Services" below.

We do not currently use any analytics or advertising SDKs. If that changes in a future version, this policy will be updated first, and the update will be reflected in the app's change notes.

How We Use It

Data you enter (supplement names, schedules, restock counts) is used solely to schedule your reminders and calculate the information shown back to you in the app (streaks, restock estimates, reorder alerts). It is not sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Camera and Permissions

SuppAlarm requests the following permissions, each used only for its stated purpose:

• Camera — to capture your daily stack photo. Photos are saved locally on your device and are not uploaded anywhere by the app.
• Alarms (AlarmKit) — to schedule real, system-level alarms for your supplement reminders, including through Do Not Disturb and Focus modes. Scheduling data stays on your device.
• Notifications— used only for restock/reorder alerts (e.g. "about a week of magnesium left"), scheduled locally on your device with no server involved.

Third-Party Services

Superwall powers our subscription paywall. When you view the paywall or make a purchase, Superwall receives subscription and purchase-event data (such as which plan you viewed or purchased) to manage entitlements and provide us with revenue analytics. Superwall does not receive your supplement data or stack photos.

Apple (App Store / StoreKit) processes all payments. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Apple handles billing directly.

Subscriptions and Payment Processing

SuppAlarm offers a free tier (one supplement reminder) and an optional auto-renewing subscription for unlimited supplements, cycling schedules, and restock tracking. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's App Store settings.

Data Retention

Because your supplement data and stack photos are stored locally on your device, they persist for as long as the app is installed and are removed when you delete the app or clear its data. We do not retain copies on any server we operate.

Your Rights

Since your data lives on your own device, you are always in control of it — you can delete any supplement, photo, or the app itself at any time. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR or CCPA regarding any data a third-party service (like Superwall or Apple) processes on your behalf. Contact us at hello@suppalarm.app with any request and we'll help direct it appropriately.

Children's Privacy

SuppAlarm is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If our data practices change (for example, if a future version adds account sync or cloud backup), we will update this page and note the change in the app itself before it takes effect.
